The Distinguished International Students Scholarship was set up to encourage outstanding international students who have finished their bachelor or master’s education in China and have been enrolled by CISS universities. The applicant is required to apply by himself or herself.

Scope of Application

Only the international graduating students including master degree students and bachelor students have the access to apply for this scholarship.

Application Documents

The following application documents should be submitted directly to CISS (you will be asked to upload scanned copies of your supporting documents after filling out the online application form):

1.CISS scholarship Application form (fill out the form online)

2.Certificate/diploma of highest education (Graduation certificate in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.)

3.Academic transcript of highest education (Transcript in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.)

4.Certificates of honors

Eligibility

1.Applicants must be international students currently in the CISS universities and in good health.

2.Applicants must have good academic record and merits in the duration of their academic year, also they must be those who have been enrolled by the CISS universities as Master’s or Doctoral candidates in the year of their graduation or are now carrying out their Master’s or Doctoral studies in CISS universities.

3.Applicants for master degree studies must be under the age of 35, and applicants for doctoral degree studies must be under the age of 40.

4.The applicants do not enjoy any other CISS Scholarships.

5.If, without any justified reason, those who own university tuition fee for more than one month will be disqualified.
