If I plan study in China, which on has a brighter career prospect?” ”Madam, I’d like to study Computer science in a first rate university. Do you have any good suggestions about the universities?”

Most foreign students have various kind of confusions and misgivings when they considering studying in China, especially how to choose right courses and universities. Since most of them haven’t been in China before, they know little about China. What’s more, they normally get the knowledge of China on line.

The mixed and complicated information online makes the choice more difficult. It seems that every university in China they know is the best choice. Base on this situation and my own experiences in helping students get the admission of China University, I did some research on how to choose right courses and universities in the field of engineering. I hope it can be helpful to those students who want to study in China and their parents who care about their kids’ application.

Once one decides to study in China, the first thing is to choose suitable course and then the universities in this filed. Most universities offer courses related engineering. Students should first decide the course and then the universities under consideration of other factors.

1.Considering the interests and advantages

A student from Uganda likes technological products, such as phones and MP4. He told me that he will create various kinds of software and apply them into those products. So, the software engineering is suitable for him. Only if you are interested in your major, can you try your best to study what you learn.

2.Making career planning

There is a twin of my students. Their parents do aquaculture business. Their country is lack of food and many children are starving. She told me that she want to feed many fish so that the children can enjoy high-nutrition fish. Therefore, they can help their father with the business if they study aquaculture technology in China. So, I recommended the fish breeding. Currently, they are studying in Ningbo University. They told me that their dormitory is beautiful and comfortable on the third day in the university. They felt happy they can help their father and those poor kids.

3.Consulting professional application center

Some students think the application agencies are not reliable and don’t want to take the risk. I fully understand them. Indeed, one student told me that he have applied through other agencies but got no answer.

So at the very beginning, when I analyze the courses and universities for him. He was unwilling to tell me the key information about his application, which delayed his application for a long time. Later on, I called him several times, talked a lot and figured out his unhappy experience.

Then, I showed him some admission letters and phone numbers of my students. Finally, he trusted me and asked my forgiveness for delaying for such a long time. He promised me that he will make kind cooperation with me and hoped I can help him get the admission of suitable university.

At last, he got the admission of Wuhan University. When his friends want to study in China, he asked me to help them. Actually, if you choose the right agency, things will become much easier.
