Applying for Chinese university is a long story. When we finish the application process, my children and I feel at ease. Now we are waiting for the good news from the university.

The Heartfelt Wishes of a Parent

I always want to give all the best to my children as what other parents do. When they are going to enter university, I am very careful. I hope they can learn useful knowledge and need not worry about the career in the future.

I have two sons. One is 19 years old, and one is 18 years old. They are at lost as other kids. They did not know where to go for study and what to choose. I have got two diplomas in accounting and communication engineering. I told them, “how about taking your father’s step? One studying accounting and one studying communication engineering”. They accept this suggestion. China is a famous country and it has good relationship with India. Then we begin the “study plan in China”.

The First Obstacle

The vast information makes us dizzy. We tried to find an agent. But we are afraid we may be cheated. My younger son tried to google “how to find an official or authorized application system”. One passage caught our sight. Finished reading this passage, we reviewed this website. And it is really helpful. So we decided to apply Chinese university here. It is CISS.

The second obstacle

The next day, we received an email from the course consultant. She confirmed some application information and gave me the course information.

I replied, two of my sons are going to study in China at bachelor degree, one for accounting, one for communication engineering. And they must study in the same university. But the consultant said the Chinese universities usually take in students in autumn. If they want to come ASAP, maybe they can consider studying Chinese language for one semester. If they do not want to study Chinese, whether they are willing to apply for autumn semester?

China is one of the four ancient country as India. My children are very interested in learning Chinese. We asked her to give us the information about both Chinese Language and bachelor degree program.

The Third Obstacle

What a pity! There is no university can provide these two majors at bachelor degree taught in English at the same time. I thought we have to give up applying then. The consultant brought lights to us. She gave us two choices.

1) if these two children have to study in the same university to take care of each other, one of them can consider change a major. There are similar majors for both accounting and communication engineering.

2)if they are really stick to the major, they can consider choosing two universities located in the same city. In this way, they can take care of each other as well. We preferred the first choice. So we told her the accounting can be change to other majors concerning economics.

Then the consultant recommended Xidian university, where business administration and communication engineering are important programs. And she also told us the difference between these two majors. Then we asked some more detailed information such as accommodation fee, the dormitory, the facilities and so on. The consultant answered carefully. After clarifying all the doubts, we began the application.

Now we are waiting for the result. We hope it is good news. But no matter how we are really grateful to CISS and the course consultant. They give us the detailed information. They give us professional instruction. They give us considerate service. They will asked for our opinion in each step and then give us two or three plans. Our plan changes, but for us, it is the best choice.
